Hello,

This is a wonderful application, congrats. I had version 1.2.1 installed (I'm running on Iphone 1.1.1.) and it stopped working after I updated it to 1.2.3.
Is there any way to get the old version that works on 1.1.1? Would it be possible for you to make it available on your source?
Thanks!

Hi Chiafa!

Thanks for the great app! I do need to bring something to your attention though. Unfortunately as great as this application is, it has a major defect right now: power drain.

Any time the notifications activate to let me know it's someone's birthday, the iPhone stays in a more active state than it's supposed to in standby mode (I've verified this through Settings\Usage). The result is the battery can be completely run down within a matter of hours.

Is there any way you could fix this so that the energy drain does not occur?

Thanks,

Eric

To reduce to zero the "drain power" disable the "Springboard text" option... after many test I have found the drain power problem on this option!

Thanks Chiafa! :-) I went ahead and did that about a week after leaving the comment here - it's helped reduce power loss although the program stays active as a background process regardless :-) I don't care though, I really like this program.

The only possible way I could see for it to improve would be for it to have direct calendar integration, hehe :-) That way it could use its reminders instead.
